Michael 'Venom' Page vs. Jeremie Holloway targeted for Bellator 153

Michael Page's next challenge in Bellator will come in the form of Jeremie Holloway.

Page, who improved to 7-0 in October, has agreed to meet Holloway at Bellator 153 on April 22, MMAFighting.com has learned. The welterweight fight is expected to air on the Spike TV main card.

I love watching Page fight. Extreme entertainment, crazy limb length and style. I think he will get KO'd brutally at the highest level with his style, but against lower level lesser fighters, he is just going to tee off from the outside ala Magny/Lombard.

I don't think he will. Maybe towards the end of his career, but I'd be surprised if anyone caught him standing.

My only problem with this is its another lose/lose situation for Page. Either he beats a 'nobody' or loses to a 'nobody'.

The exposure should be a plus though- this will be the biggest card he's had to perform on so far.

I agree with this, that is why I think MVP is much better than a can crusher.

Also agree with you John...He needs to be tested more...But he can only beat who they put in front of him...He keeps doing it...Would love to see him step up a bit more though...He has all the tools.

"he can only beat who they put in front of him" - I agree and we already know he will KO low level competition with single strikes from the outside making it look like a video game.

but the one time they set him up with a wrestler it was one of the worst fights I've seen lately so I'm not all that impressed with his performance.
