Ok this girl is a 125lb, what that say about her? She's a fighter not complaining about 5 lbs or in her case 15. She wants to fight good for her. Tate even said she is willing to fight her at 140. Not complaining about I'm champ drop another 5lbs. And yes I will have a toke with some pineapple.

This fight doesn't seem like the best match making but some people are posting like Cyborg creeped up on Smith in a dark alley or something. Any links to show how the negotiations went down and who wanted who or anything? Either way both girls agreed to this and its happening in the big leagues and we finally get to see Cris fight in the UFC. It's nothing new to see ZUFFA create the path of least resistance for a fighter if they think it'll be profitable in the near future. With the women's divisions being as small as they are all Cris needs is 2-3 wins over any of them and she's set for a title bout or fights with Tate, Holm, Cat or Ronda. I'm happy to watch this all unfold from my couch.

Weren't you the one saying after the holly fight with Ronda that they would make a 125 and Ronda would drop down as Holly was much bigger than her? Cybrog is in the UFC, hope they make this. I mean they have Conor going up two weight classes surely Ronda can go up 5 lbs. Tate is a 125er been saying that for a while, and still would fight her at 140."That's my job. No, I didn't say that.
I said Miesha and Ronda could make 125 lbs. Holly can't, Nunes can't and Cyborg would die once she hit 135 lbs (actually she wouldn't but she thinks she would). Ronda and Miesha would both fight Cyborg at 140 lbs if asked to BUT neither one really wants to. I proved that.
Smith doesn't get paid much. This is probably the best chance she's ever had to make some money fighting. On top of that, the UFC is well known for blackballing or firing fighters who don't take what they are given. Smith is a warrior, but if she was given a choice of fighting someone in her weight class and Cyborg for the same amount of money, you know she wouldn't pick the She-Hulk who will probably weight 20lbs more than Leslie on fight day.
At the end of the day, it's a HUGE mismatch and a circus fight with ZERO meaning. I personally DESPISE watching Cyborg beat up other women. When I watch her fight, I get this creepy feeling like I'm watching a man beat his wife.
