Wanderlei Silva's tag team partner at Rizin FF 3 is former opponent

Wanderlei Silva's tag team partner has been announced for the Rizin FF 3 main event.

Wanderlei Silva's partner for his tag team matchup against Kazushi Sakuraba and Hideo Tokoro in the Rizin Fighting Federation 3 main event later this month was just revealed. As announced on a press conference in Japan, Wand will team up with former opponent and mixed martial arts pioneer Kiyoshi Tamura.

Silva and Tamura fought at PRIDE 19 in 2002. The Axe Murderer won via second-round knockout. Wanderlei also discussed the match up at The MMA Hour on Monday.

If that is true, much less excited for his return.

Getting back into fight shape is really hard at that age and getting his skills back to where they were won't be easy either, I'd assume.

Doesn't look anything like an Axe Murderer anymore. Maybe he would borrow an axe from you to chop some wood for his family to keep them warm during the winter months, but murder? I don't think so.

I hope I'm wrong, he comes back and becomes Bellator middleweight champ though.

Funny how USADA's only been knocking on foreigners' doors so far. How noble and clean those american/brittish ufc fighters are. I'm sure Connor and Rhonda were preparing for their fights drinking orange juice and the occasional cider, maybe a bud beer here and there.
