Wins by David Branch and former UFC star Jon Fitch led World Series of Fighting 30 on Saturday night to draw 158,000 viewers on NBC Sports Network.

The show, held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, did lower than the company's usual numbers, which hover around the 200,000 range. That was both understandable and expected due to the late night starting time. The show aired from 11:30 p.m. to 1:46 a.m., Eastern time, instead of the usual prime time start time.

An event three weeks earlier, starting at 10 p.m. Eastern time and headlined by Justin Gaethje vs. Brian Foster, did 208,000 viewers.

Dam, World Series of fighting must be bleeding money. Don't they pay for that slot too? Dang, idk how they can get it done? And some people clown on bellator for getting 700k sometimes

Not good for a strictly teleshow.
I don't see them being around in the future.
After Zuffa interests were clearly involved, a lot of hardcore fight fans were turned off. It seems they were once "absolved" as the Zuffa b-league, but now that Bellator has taken over to appear as a deterrent to the monopoly argument, along with no notable interest in advertising and an obscure channel somewhat, it appears they are being slowly bled out.
Because they bleed Zuffa lite I don't really care, but would like to see top talent like Marlon Morais land in Bellator.

I'm surprised it was rounded. Like, if they had said 158,000 and Bill Jones from Minnesota, I would not have been surprised.

Strangely it was available in my area. It's kind of hard to get good numbers when its blacked out in a major market area.

That later time slot had a lot to do with those crappy ratings.

Safe to say that bellator stays on Friday because they really aren't competing with any HUGE sports on their time slot. Isn't the most ideal day or time, but they are pretty much competition free when it comes to football, and other mma.
