WOW seems like just a missing factor in the blood wouldnt fail a medical screening. Unless he has to take something for it that might be flagged, I think there sould be something they could do to resolve it, hell the guy has fought numerous times without issue, maybe some legal release?

That sucks for him. But hey, he got to fight on the biggest stage, he got to win in front of his home Irish crowd, so he has a lot of be proud of.

Yeah but g-d forbid something happens to him. Better to hang them up now and live life.

With Paddy retired, McGregor can drop down to flyweight and make a run at that title

That sucks for Paddy. Hope he 1) stays healthy 2) finds a niche coaching or making a living somehow in MMA

Saw this on Facebook.

God damn, lost another Euro too some stupid genetic problem.

I'm not really a fan of the guy, but it sucks to see a guy get forced out of the sport due to something he has no control over.

Wish him the best.

Paddy is a phenomenal coach, and he just opened up a gym. I'm stoked he gas something to fall back on, but sad that his fighting days are over.

Very smart on him to retire, what a warrior to even compete with those symptoms. Much respect to Paddy.
