Apparently the base pay is still $10,000 and not the $12,000 we thought it was changed to.

Walt Harris ($10,000 + $10,000 = $20,000) def. Cody East ($10,000)

Never lose a fight while fighting huge beasts = 500,000

Win some small guys, lose fights here and there but talk shit = 2,000,000

The world's going to hell.

Mighty Mouse holds the strap and has defended it numerous times and Bones gets more than double his take. Demetrious is always getting fucked over.

He gets paid too though, and both get a PPV-cut I think.

OSP hopefully got a locker room bonus.
Same for Roberts and Steele, their fight was awesome, they deserve it.

I'm guessing you're a shill, but I will try to appeal to reason in a likely futile attempt. There is no evidence that these bonuses, when very rarely given, amount to anything more than 1/5 of fuck all. Nate Quarry, paid the amazing disclosed sum of 10 grand for a title fight and not one single cent more, can fill you in on reality, as can many others. I've heard Shane Carwin claim that he was looked after with a bonus for the Brock Lesnar fight, but that guy was only being paid 40 measly grand to fight in the main event of a card that did 1.1 million PPV buys. He must've caught his owners in a charitable mood after his fight just made them 10s of millions and we have no idea what they paid him. These are rare occurrences.

Why the fuck would the UFC ever pay its slaves more than a few extra scraps once in a while to try and avert outright rebellion? They wouldn't, and they don't. Remember when Chad Mendes got a big pay raise for the Conor fight? That was fully disclosed to the public. Why would they bother if they can just keep it secret? Why not just claim to pay every fighter 10 grand? Because that is what they are legally obligated to pay, and that's what the fighters actually get paid. They don't get paid from some nonsense secret regular bonus payroll that Zuffa would have to methodically develop an accounting governance structure around.

Point is an OSP who engaged in a shit fight with Jones likely received 0 bonus. Any extra money included in his salary for taking it on short notice would have been negotiated ahead of time and disclosed.

Do you really not understand why Conor gets millions? Are we really gonna complain when a guy gets paid what he's worth?

Yes I understand why Conor gets millions. Because as soon as the world was done being brainfucked 10 years in a row by a series of "oh-my-god" lame jokes at the end of the friends sitcom in 2004, facebook and reality tv was thrown in the mix to seal the deal.

You lost me. Haha no idea what you are trying to say here. I'm sure it's poignant.

I do agree that Jones should get more than he currently does, but I don't think that the beef should be with Conor getting paid.

They do. Jones mentioned in one of the pre-fight pressers that he makes "millions" per fight, and one of his brothers previously said that he makes more fighting for the UFC than they make playing for the NFL.
