I don't see the point in making this fight from Tony's perspective. He should be fighting for the title, but he will fight anyone.

Wonder how many fights he has left on his current deal? Unless he's gambling on a new contract before a title shot this makes no sense. Very few go on this long of a winning streak. A loss has got to be just around the corner for him and starting the climb back up the ladder.

I'm not sure, don't you have some connections that could advise?......This fight is similar to Jones fighting osp, but there was a compelling reason for that fight to happen.

Actually, I'll tweet him and ask and he'll ignore me.

Hopefully, Chiesa doesn't have to shit himself before this fight.

I wish furgeson could find a pair of sunglasses that don't make his head feel so narrow and his ears so big. Maybe smaller lenses.

It's like a skinny guy wearing a sport jacket with shoulders way too big.

Very awkward turtle.

Tony deserves either a title fight or number contender bout, not Chiesa.

Agree, but even a loss won't hurt him much long term IMO. Tony's game is very diverse, with heavy pressure, high pace, excellent D'arce chocke, good punching power and an unpredictable striking to he's repertoire. Tony brings something very few fighters at LW should be able to handle.

Should he lose it will slow him down in the chase for the belt, but he should be able to bounce back soundly. Plus when he speaks he sounds like a clever/confident guy so I wouldn't be too worried. I think Tony will be fine.

So you go from him fighting Khabib to fighting Chiesa? UFC gonna UFC
Cause it's a sick stylistic match up in some ways they mirror eachother. Tony should win, but wouldn't surprise me if it's a competitive back and forth fight, with FOTY honors.
