This would be a freak show match. It wouldn't last long. Also, those numbers would not be conoresque and would be an embarrassment to him and I wouldn't pay to watch and don't know who would do where do ui even get £10m, let alone mayweatheds cut.

John Kavanagh needs to lay off being the PR guy constantly spreading bullshit. His golden goose sells the fights just fine, he needs to focus on keeping it in check so it can still fight well enough to bring in the cash.

Maybe Conor wants to go out like those that commit suicide by cop, but in this case suicide by repeated blows to the head

Despite knowing its all bullshit, the prospect of a high level mma or boxer near their physical peak trying their hand at the opposing sport does intrigue me.

Do UFC contracta prohibit boxing? You're usually allowed to grapple and I know Anderson did a boxing match in Brazil.

I don't pay for boxing anymore. I lost touch with it. I should point out that I was big into it back in the 90s when you had guys like Vargas, Trinidad, Quartey, sweet pea, de la Hoya, etc. And Lennox, Rahman even that late but lost interest after that. I used to love it but can't seem to get into it anymore.......

I should add that as I was watching Tyson Holyfield 1, that I pointed out to a boxing maniac Tyson lover that Holyfield was laying into Tyson that Holyfield might knock him out while that fight was in its' early rounds and was told "cmon, man you can't be serious" and the rest is history, so I would watch a legit fight now if I had any interest in it....

Ariel's point #1 is spot on, but his second point is not. Even though this is all bullshit, hypothetically speaking, $10m guaranteed is what the ufc was claiming to offer, so that is acceptible, then he would have ppv points (and ppv numbers) that would far exceed what a ufc fight could generate.

Intrigue?? It stops the world for me. This is the stuff fight fans crave, the what-if matches. It's how UFC 1 created "the UFC".

I hate Mcgregor and his antics, but if he gives ufc the finger and fights outside of the org in breach of his contract, I'm jumping head first on the Connor bandwagon.

Hopefully next fight is last in Connor's contract and we can see him fight Mayweather
