I'll admit I was a critic of Matt Brown and thought he would get finished by Condit when they signed to fight. Brown was coming off what I felt was an overrated run of wins over Erick Silva, Mike Pyle, Jordan Mein, Mike Swick, Luis Ramos, Stephen Thompson and Chris Cope, but he then fought hard and didn't get finished by either Lawler or Hendricks over the 8 rounds (turns out Thompson was a killer too) You have to look back to 2011 for his last submission loss, and that weak body he seems to have did cost him a round or two, but he's fought through the pain against top opposition.

He's a live dog? think that is the term

Honestly the fight i am most looking forward to on this card. If Maia wins and Wonderboy looses to Rory then Maia surely gets the next shot?

that's just gibberish!!! kidding, although the word is "losing" not "loosing" :) a very common mistake

well on paper the matchups sound nice, but with injuries we never know who is next

I hate how the UFC puts higher level fights as the "main events" of the Fight Pass and Fox Sports prelims. I mean, I totally get why they do it, business wise. But as a fan watching the entire card, I hate it. I'd much rather have the fights continue to rise in relevance and anticipation as the fight card goes on over the course of a night.

Me too. That slow build up the main event.
