with such very specific and rather easy to determine of accuracy of allegations this is very interesting, I was expecting much more vague allegations
usually those are the quickest to debunk/prove so hopefully we dont wait long

Obviously I'm against zuffa so my opinion is biased from the get-go. Having said that:

Light claims he learned from a reliable source that Ryan Martinez's blood and eye medicals submitted to Arizona officials for Bellator 126 "were admittedly forged."
At Bellator 131 in San Diego, Light claims he learned "a number of fighters on the card had submitted California state-required medicals by one Adam Rendon, who was not a licensed physician
I'm sorry but this is rumors. And last but not least...

Light further alleges that a Bellator employee continued to transport fighters, managers, and commission officials in the company van even though his driver's license was suspended from a DUI. After bringing the issue to Coker, Light claims he was told to "stop making waves" and "just do your job."
This sounds awfully like he's fishing for anything to shit-talk on bellator.

To me it sounds like the ufc is behind this, wouldn't have it past them trying to bring down bellator now that it's on the rise. Perhaps something similar to Miro, the manager that brought down pride.

I agree with stielar.
The accusations seem kind of trivial EXCEPT for the bloodwork, if true that would be on the far end of of the unprofessional spectrum but at this point it's based on hearsay. Time will tell.

I can't comment on this for two reasons -

1. I dont know anything about anything he's talking about. Not in my lane.

2. If Bellator says they're not commenting, I'm sure as fuck not commenting.

3. I said there were only two reasons, why are you reading this?
just showing your face in this thread tells me you are a boss.

you have nothing to do with that stuff.

Bellator Coker is not the same guy as SF Coker, he is an open liar now, he said this after DaDa/Kimbo:

'DaDa was in great shape'
lol no, he is the exact same person. wake up.

(...) last but not least...

I hope this isn't true as I was starting to enjoy seeing the possibility of some competition for the ufc. Generally speaking, competition improves things in my experience.

Side note - can you imagine how different this thread would look if the accusations were directed at the ufc, it would be like night and day.

Imo the accusations could very much hold water as a lot of what they describe is just the sausage making of the show must go on culture of many mma promotions.

The fact that it's written by Paul Gift makes me think that there is at least a match worth of fire to this smoke. Maybe not a full blown inferno but maybe a birthday candle or two. He's pretty thorough and accurate about topics that he dives into.
Paul trawls through court fillings for ones which are relevant to MMA. He has no influence on whether the claims within are true or not, just that they have been made and filed.

The DaDa5000 aftermath proved otherwise imo, he claimed to not know if DaDa was under contract for another fight....

the promoter claimed he didn't know if his main eventer was under contract (he was lying, just like he lied about DaDa being in great shape)

Hahaha, Jesus. You seemed almost reasonable until the whole "UFC is behind this" thing. You rrrrrreally reached on that one.

I heard Zuffa orchestrated 9/11 and Joe Silva was the one driving the car that hit Wanderlei.

so you don't think that is the same guy that was running Strikeforce? he suffered a metamorphosis sometime between 2010-2014?

I heard something about the Cindy O story, guess it's probably another conspiracy theory...

it seemed pretty obvious to me that cindy was a paid shill or in some way got compensation for her shilling.

Are you saying that these situations are comparable, or do you think that since there is actual litigation involved in this one that they are completely different?

I'll help you out. It's the second one. The UFC can't just approach people and ask them to sue Bellator on some bullshit that they'll obviously have to prove. That's not how the world works.

Well, to be fair, there was actual litigation involved with CindyO too. My sense is Bellator and Coker have never been as clean as we wish they were, just generally nicer on the surface.

I know there was, but that litigation came after everything had happened. It wasn't part of the plan. This scenario begins with litigation, which is a fact that doesn't support the argument that Zuffa is orchestrating a ploy that is based on lies. There would be no reason to if they knew they were gonna have to prove it.

Bellator and Coker had a good idea- they were gonna be the nice guy promoter so they will get a disproportionate amount of converts that are disillusioned by Zuffa's greedy practices. It worked for a little bit, but their actions don'the exactly match their words.
