Jedrzejczyk unhappy with TUF

Yesterday, Jedrzejczyk spoke with Steve Cofield and RJ Clifford on their show SiriusXM Fight Club about her experiences filming TUF and he feelings about how she has been portrayed in the show.

"I don't watch TUF. I don't watch it because I don't like how they show me... I know the stories, I know the things which happened so I'm not watching because what I saw in the first two episodes I wasn't happy with that so I'm not watching this."

"I heard every day that I'm a very good coach, that I'm a very good partner for my teammates and for my fighters but they show on TV that I'm a bad person but I'm not. So that's why I'm not watching this. I'm focused on my preparations for my upcoming fight with Claudia Gadhela and I just want to make sure that I'm gonna be at 100 percent and you're gonna hear ‘and still' on July 8th.

"The second episode or the third [episode] I saw that I was jumping to one of Claudia's coaches but the story was different. They started the fight. I'm the champ. I became the champion a long time ago. You know I've been working so hard for my title and I cannot let Claudia or someone from her team jump to me. You know what I mean. They cannot push me, they cannot yell at me. I'm kind of tough girl and they cannot just play with me. When you're nice to me, I'm nice to you; but when you are not nice, I'm even worse.

"People just see tense situations in the TUF program. They can see that I am bully but it wasn't like that. Don't trust everything you see on TV."

I've been watching this season and it hasn't been kind to Joanna.

Basically portraying her as a bully. Her team has gone 0-6 now and she is being portrayed as someone who can't really connect with her fighters.

The thing is, during the last fight she had great advice for her fighter. She said to duck under the punches and get a takedown. Worked perfectly! Unfortunately, the fighter, (Jamie Moyle?) didn't listen early or enough and lost the decision.

I personally think a lot of it was a language issue. It was funny when one of the fighters said "I don't know what the fuck you're saying!" when a coach was instructing them during drills and not using English for some reason.

Hahah exactly, and the funny thing about that was Claudia was giving her fighter TERRIBLE advice. She kept yelling at Amanda Cooper to avoid the clinch and the ground... but as soon as Amanda got Jamie in the clinch she started KILLING her with brutal knees and elbows. Then it goes to the ground and Amanda pounds on her for the rest of the round.

Of course she sees it differently, bullies rarely admit they start shit and her trash talk should embarras her, its awful. Hopefully she learns to keep her space and let her fighting do the talking. She is trying to be Conor but with no wit at all.

Last time I did I wound up with severe dislike syndrome for coach Honda.
Would hate for that to happen with coach Joann, as it sounds like she has gone the way of coach Honda.

Well there are certain things that can't be taken out of context and simply are what they are.

In the second last episode, both female fighters weigh in and have a face off, and Joanna says "easy fight, Jamie". It was pretty lame to see the 115lb world champ trying to shit talk and intimidate a 1-1 fighter.

I do love her as champ, but TUF always ends up showing how a person really is, she ends p looking like a bully thats getting schooled

I know exactly what Joanna is saying.

I was caught on camera beating the shit out of a toddler at a mall and they deliberately picked the one angle that obscured the toddler making aggressive hand gestures towards me to show the police.
