Josh Koscheck is injured and out of his fight with Paul Daley at Bellator 158 on July 16 in London, MMA Fighting confirmed with Bellator officials Monday. Daley will now face former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima instead. ESPN was the first to report the news.

Koscheck and Daley were supposed to fight on the same card in January in Koscheck's adopted hometown of Fresno, Calif., to set up a future bout. Koscheck was slated to face Matt Secor in the main event of his Bellator debut, but got injured in training and had to withdraw. Daley took over the main event spot, defeating Andy Uhrich. Afterward, Daley slammed Koscheck in the post-fight interview.

Dont really want to be the one to state the obvious but its starting to look like hes looking for a way out of this fight to save face.

Kos' TD's have been extremely weak and slow over the last few years. He probably knows he wont be able to take Daley down and would be forced to stand with him the whole fight.

That would make any grown man have a urination control problem in their drawers.

Agreed. Much more competitive fight IMO. It does suck that they'll likely never have this rematch though.

Kos isn't ducking him. No way. He may or may not be able to beat Daley at this point in his career, but he isn't gonna talk the shit then fake an injury. Besides, I'm sure Bellator has doctors look at the fighters too. They may not just take a fighters word on it once an agreement has been signed.

Oh Koscheck...You can take the fighter out of AKA, but you can't take AKA out of the fighter.

I agree, Koscheck also needs this fight to stay relevant, frankly speaking.
