I think he has great coping skill's considering he has that much of an overbearing guy for dad...That little hercule's kid seemed to end up alright, but I am curious that if Sage steps up to his dad if he will continue MMA.
I doubt it.
I'm not as familiar with Muay Thai as I'd like to be, & did not know who Ilya Grad was. Now I know. Those elbow & knee combos...damn...

Started reading this and thought: leave training at training and talk to him personally if you got something to say, but it really seems as if he wants to help him wake up and probably couldn't even have talked to him without the dad roaming about..

I think Little Hercules's dad was in jail and out of his life when Little Hercules was a young teenager.
Personally, I hope Sage's dad at least pushes him with his studies too coz Sage doesn't seem to have the mettle to have a much of a future in MMA.

"The gym I'm specifically at is a Gracie Barra gym, so in the future obviously I will. I can spar and train my technique in different ways, going up to Tristar, getting different training partners, different UFC fighters who are in there very well talented, and getting to learn the most I can out of everything."

Dude needs to join a legit gym and his Dad needs to be a supporter not a ram-roder. I hope it happens because there is no denying that the kid has all kinds of potential

There is a long story that goes along with that. He helped the FBI (I think it was the FBI) when he got caught by them. He set up some friend or associate of his who was a lawyer that had his career go down the tubes due to drug addiction. The lawyer used to be a superstar and then his career went downhill due to alcoholism I think and then he started representing the drug dealers and became addicted to their drugs and Sage's dad set him up so he could save his own skin.
