Brendan Schaub thinks the whole Brock Lesnar/USADA situation is "fishy", and believes Mark Hunt should be able to show up juiced to the gills for their UFC 200 fight.

While he's not currently a competitor in the UFC at the moment, heavyweight Brendan Schaub could possibly come back one day. And if he did, he would have to let them know at least four months beforehand so he could be entered in the USADA testing pool. So when Brock Lesnar was allowed to be exempt from this process ahead of his UFC 200 bout with Mark Hunt, Schaub told his co-hosts on The Fighter and the Kid podcast that the situation looked 'fishy' (transcribed by MMA Mania):

"He (Lesnar) could have gotten off of them, and tailored off. Now he can fight and be clean. So I'm retired and let's say they want me to fight;…

Well, that's an educated take on it.....Schwab needs to dump his stupid, unfunny partner before he falls into that category also.......

Am I the only person that's tired of this talk?

The rule is meant so that people can't deliberately avoid testing by declaring that they're retired when someone shows up for a sample. (Slight exaggeration but that's one of the root reasons for it)

If Brock had been an active fighter when USADA was announced and immediately bounced and then given an exemption then it would be complete horseshit.
Brock is being given the same treatment in this case as every other fighter that is signed into the UFC and directly into a fight on less than 4 months notice.

I firmly believe that Brock has used steroids in the past, present, and future but fucking hell... This really is making a mountain out of a molehill.

It's still favorable treatment for one particular fighter. Has this excemtpino been given to anyone else? If so, yeah that could be the molehill you speak of. Until then though, it is still making an exception for one fighter which creates an uneven playing field reminiscent of the TRT days.

Well this puts things in a slightly different perspective.

Shaub has such a weird view on sports. So unbalanced, biased, downright dumb at times. Callen has no clue, literally no clue about MMA and most sports. Every single time Callen goes into a little speech about a fighter saying he's this and that it's so clear he has literally no idea what he is talking about. He says the same thing about every fighter. At least Shaub does his research.

They are also the worst interview duo of all time. All time. They get a guy in to have as a guest, then talk over him/her, ask questions they then ignore the answer to, direct answers towards what they think rather than letting them talk. They spend so much time with Rogan you would think they would learn.

Used to be a big fan of their format, felt the purple patch was actually after the Rogan speech episode, became less of a fan when Shaub started going on about being rich and claiming he's humble, almost stopped listening after his bullies attitude, the interviews are making me nearly turn off. Few more weeks and I'll have given up with it.

MMA Roasted is on fire at the minute, listen to that instead now.

I gave up a long time ago when they interviewed bang when all of that team alpha male battle was going on........
And I have made myself clear on many occasions how callen doesn't know very much and thankfully gets shut down by rogan on pretty much every fight companion. There was only one where he wasn't over the top annoying. I also just don't find him funny, at all. Andrewsimar Palhardass @Andrewsimar Palhardass gets mad at me but I just don't like the callen and I've tried.

Yea the Bang interview was a serious low point. He said maybe 5 words in a row at any one time in the interview.

Callen can be funny, but recently it's just gone 100% gross out humour. They've got one more week of my time then I'm done.

What's with all of these people bringing me up in conversations that I have nothing to do with? Haha at least it's Robbie this time.

I don't get mad at you for thinking he is unfunny. The last time we talked about this it was because you said that you could "easily top" everything he was saying, and making comedy a competition gives me douche chills.

Ask Darrel Horcher if he had to be tested for 4 months before getting Khabib on like ten days notice. I'm sure this is not the first time this has happened.

I didn't want to not quote you like I was avoiding you......trying to keep it transparent

I feel you, and in that case I respect your choice.

I do want to say that I hate how often Schaub accuses fighters of using. He knows the ramifications and he is using it to further his career. Really makes me uncomfortable.
