So I'm gonna try to spend more time on PS CC and want to equip myself with some better tools. From what I'm reading a gaming mouse is the way too go for feel, sensitivity and programmable buttons (I have no desire to go with a tablet/pen set up) Im also seeing that people really notice a difference with a good pad, some guys are putting teflon tape on the mouse's feet as well, hardcore....

Tell me what you have now or have had in the past along with pros and cons, wired or cordless, wheel, weight, battery life and so on.

Thanks in advanced you fucking geeks.

If you're asking what the best tool for using PS/AI is, it's not a mouse. It's a stylus- Bamboo makes great ones. I can understand your reticence- I tried once and couldn't convert- but once I really gave it a go, I never looked back. A mouse is like using an axe instead of a scalpel.

I hear ya bit I'm not that dedicated to make the jump quite yet, plus a have restrictions on space available. I went with a Razor Naga and so far I'm liking it.

Can you recommend some other ones besides the bamboo? I'm still happy with my mouse but we are looking for a new place and if I get the office space im gonna go for a stylus set up. What else do you need, some sort of tablet I assume?

Sorry dude, for some reason I'm not seeing posts tagged with me.

I JUST upgraded from the Bamboo Pen to the newer Intuos Wacom Global It was inexpensive and is also a touch-pad. I got wrist pain from the mouse about 8 years ago and tried for the second time to convert to the stylus. That time it stuck. The gestures and buttons are fully customizable and you'll get it in like 3 days if you force yourself. I CAN use a mouse now, but the stylus is just a much more natural hand position and I find clipping paths much easier. Navigating regular programs is also more natural.

The products you're posting seem similar, I just started with Wacom and stuck with them.

The stylus is rechargeable and from what I read they are much nicer than the basic ones. Listed at $180ish and i got it for $80 so I'm pumped to see how this goes.

Cool- let me know how it goes. Are you a design pro, or a hobbyist?
Hobbyist. Winter is coming so I'm hoping to justify much more indoor time learning more. So many YouTube videos in my watch later list. If you have some helpful links or advice your self I'd love to hear it.

Good to see you went for the touch-pad. I use a Wacom Bamboo tablet and it's been great when doing painting style work in Photoshop CC. If I were doing photo editing then I would continue to use a mouse though.
