Just found this. Kinda impressive. Definitely the most effective fan control I've seen from any of these run-ins.

Did he actually Wrestle at anypoint?

Unless he was atleast a High School Wrestler, I give him ZERO chance.

Big strong guy with incredible work ethic. I'd say he'd have done just fine.

Depends how well he picks up technique and can/can't take professional striking damage.

He wouldn't have a base that could be considered an advantage though.

He would have married Dana White and forced everyone to kiss his ass and no one would ever be allowed to beat him.

Impressive?
He was 2x the other person's size and yet the little guy walked away just fine.

I mean to say impressive in the sense he went from play actor to shoot wrestler in an instant. All the other times fans come in the ring, the wrestlers throw half-pulled punches. HHH said, "Fuck this guy. I'm going all in!"

They were really short punches. The suplex against the resisting opponent was impressive though.

I think a lot of wrestlers would have gone straight to MMA if it was remotely as big back then as it is now.

I think so, too, but HHH wouldn't have been one of them. I don't think he's ever been a real fight in his life.

It's a lot different when the guy punching you in the face doesn't give a fuck about who you're married to.

HHH smacks of "Gym guy" who, in a different time would look at Nick Diaz in a gym, smirk and assume he's a no lifting pussy and then get slapped and slept.

Like if you had a tournament of all the wrestlers entering MMA, the vast majority get beaten so badly by Haku/Meng or any of the guys who could legit kill anyone they want, that they would never do it twice.

Haku would have at least won a round in early UFC's on insane toughness and strength alone. I doubt any of the non-grapplers even hurt him. With a moderate amount of BJJ? He probably gives the top guys a run and only loses once he is completely out of energy.
