
According to a report, Demetrious Johnson is out of his UFC flyweight title defense against Wilson Reis at UFC 201 due to an injury.
UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson has been forced out of his upcoming title defense against Wilson Reis in the co-main event of UFC 201 later this month with an undisclosed injury, according to Combate. MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani later reported the news as well. UFC officials have not confirmed the news as of yet.
Johnson (24-2-1) has defended his 125-pound strap eight consecutive times, most recently finishing Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo in devastating fashion at UFC 197 this past April. Other recent victories include a dominant decision win over John Dodson and a last-second submission of Kyoji Horiguchi.
