It looks like the fourth UFC show in six days wasn't received all that well by fans.

Overkill caught up to the UFC in terms of ratings for their debut show in South Dakota. UFC Fight Night 91 was the promotion's fourth show in six days, and lacked starpower on the card. So predictably, not many people tuned in to watch it.

According to MMA Fighting, the show did 609,000 viewers. That's by far the worst number of the year - every other prime time show has done over 750,000 viewers for the main card, and even the two shows that didn't air in prime time beat this number. Yikes.

Basically it did the same number as the last episode of The Ultimate Fighter to air. That's not pretty.

This wasn't really promoted, and is coming off the heels of 3 straight nights of MMA. This can't be a shock to them.

Honestly, I didn't even know about this card. I missed it and was pissed that all I was hearing about all week was UFC 200. I also missed the Eddie and RDA fight. Wish the UFC promoted more than UFC 200 that week. I would have watched every card.

Over saturation is an understatement at this point.

To the average fan the card was worthless, sparked no interest, and lets be honest I know plenty of hardcore fans that had no clue there was even a card scheduled.

It was just a bad idea overall.

But this has been seen coming for some time, UFC went balls to the wall making card after card in order to milk the cash cow of all its worth ....right when the cow went dry.....SELL SELL SELL baby!

it was a great card but also airing opposite of mr.robot was a mistake.

The main event didn't seem to pull me in. I am not surprised. It was also on a Wednesday, and after quite a weekend of cards. Could have done without this card, was indifferent.

You're complaining that there is too much mma on tv?
