I've just recently gotten back into wrestling but the one thing that turns me off more than anything to it happens to be how ridiculously similar they all look and act.
I grew up during the Attitude Era when everyone had their own look/personality. Why do all of the current wrestlers have that same look? Dolph Ziggler, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Jack Swagger, The Miz and many more of that generation all have that clean cut white guy look? Even when they aren't clean cut, they just all reek of being so similar (to me.)
What happened to having much more diverse and polarizing cast of characters, like Stone Cold, The Undertaker, The Rock, Kane, DX, Edge & Christian, The Hardy Bros. They were all overwhelmingly unique characters, weren't they?
Is it because of the WWE being PC nowadays? Or are those who are becoming wrestlers these days just that much different than those of generations past? There needs to be less model types and more bruisers.
