Going to smackdown should be good for some of these guys though. Theyll have more light shown on them, that they woudnt otherwise get.

It's very simple, Cornette has really explained this and so have others.

McMahon made himself a heel, a heel authority of the company and is the ACTUAL owner who listens to no one but Dunn and Hayes. Since he never changed himself back into a face because he was terrified of giving up the crutch, people respond to him as an owner and his choices asif they are the choices of a heel.

It's really classic wrestling good vs evil in the end. McMahon doesn't get it and the fact they never created a new evil makes anything that they are known as responsible for, identified as the choices of heels.

Smarks are part of that process, they are people that shoot themselves in the foot we're all guilty of it (I like Roman's work but his promos are death) but mainly McMahon is a heel that doesn't hide his choices and leaks them, and anything he pushes will be badly received.
