I don't even care about this fight to be honest. Nate should challenge RDA for the belt, and Conor should return to his weightclass to defend his title against who ever is most deserving. I'd say Aldo deserves a rematch, but is now of course facing Edgar first. And I think Aldo will take that one.
I love Nate, but you think he should jump over Ferguson and Khabib? RDA killed him. I know it wasn't the same Nate, but outside of him being so beloved I'm not sure you can justify giving him an immediate shot over those guys.

Maybe an RDA fight should sound better right now. Both Nate and Conor are kind of side tracked right now, which I don't really care for.

Logic dictates Nate....but Conor showed he can cut him.
If Nate wins, then I think it'll be in similar fashion to last time.
If Conor wins, think I think it'll be through a cut stoppage.

If Diaz wins, Conor may go into hiding. He pretty much isnt going back to 145, Wouldnt survive at 170, and 155 is a shark tank. Good luck Leppy
Watch your tone young man. Comparing fighters to mythological creatures is worthy to get you pink named.

Diaz, again, easily.

McGregor will also get KTFO by Khan next year. He'll then quit the fight game and hang onto CM Punk's tucked tail all the way to Vince McMahon's cock.

I agree Conor wins, but I dont think it will be comfortable.

Nate is too tough, too well conditioned and has too good a chin for it to be easy, although I think him losing makes sense all round for that trilogy fight and more $$$ for everyone involved.

I think people are underestimating Conors ability to learn from his mistakes and adapt, and giving too much credit to Nate coming in on 11 days in the last one and getting the W.

Just because he was on holiday and sipping tequilas doesn't mean he was out of shape - a guy that does triathlons for fun is never really out of shape.

Gonna be a great fight whatever happens!

I don't think Nate cares whether he fights for a belt or not. And I don't mind that at all. He deserves the big money fights if belts don't matter to him. I really hope he pulls it out again but he has been beaten rather easily with the right game plan so you never know.

I love both these guys, but as a plastic paddy my hope has me leaning toward McGregor.

Aside from who wins, do the PPV points make Nate a millionaire? I hope so. It's wonderful to see guys like this buck the system and still succeed.

Word on the street is that Nate made 2-3 million on their last fight. He may have negotiated up from there for this fight but no one knows for sure what the base purse will be this time around.

This is going as I thought. Its currently 11-1 in Nate's favor. I'm curious what a poll here would have shown prior to UFC 196. It would have to be a little closer.

Any "not sures" this time?[EDIT] added
first time round I wasn't sure...there were too many random variables...10 days notice and mostly Conor looked big to me...like very big in comparison to what I thought he would look like..iirc he's around the same height as michael johnson...but he also looked more muscular than MJ...so I couldn't say for sure

I think diaz closes the distance within 30 seconds and takes conor down with a judo throw then GnP to a second rnc win in 45 seconds.
