I'm skipping UFC events for the first time in ten years even on mute, because it's gone past what I can stand in terms of the stupid meter and Dana is the face of that disgust with it. I literally hate no one else in sports more than him. I come to WWE for silly and pomp and circumstance and fake drama, I don't want it in MMA. They are getting Casuals addicted to it and will shoot MMA as a sport in the head with it just like Boxing did, because they've turned a corner and decided it cannot sell by itself, not to mention the total crock of shit the payment system is.
Tito vs Chuck, DC vs Jones etc, that's real drama, the rest is not and it's noise that makes me less interested.

Pretty much, and Chael I can deal with because he delivers it very coherently even if stolen and inspired from Graham, he can have a back and forth that changes when the slogans are done.

He's also really slow on his feet. He has his scripted promo and nothing to fall back on if it doesn't go according to plan. Nate is barely coherent, but he says what's on his mind and whatever comes out is as much a surprise to him as it is everyone else. In their first pre-fight presser it was hilarious to watch. Conor stumble over his pre-written promo. Nate insulting him, and Conor breaking character and yelling as loud as possible.

That's why it comes off as completely aggravating spam to me now and they can't even try and hide the fact that it doesn't matter if he loses or wins they will let Conor do what he wants and destroy any division they have to for it, and when they lose this and Ronda has her next mental breakdown and they don't have shitshow star power, they will be completely screwed.
They can't count on it being there forever and every hardcore they chase away will mean the next cyclical decline will be all that much worse for them.
The fact he and Dana are even talking a third fight is absurd. Nate I get, because he's trying to get paid as his career is winding down. but for fuck sakes. Conor has clearly shown us he can't decisively beat Nate and that he has no business fighting above 145.
