Last night was a bad match after I went back and watched. They have good styles, but last night all Rusev did was work Roman's ribs, then Roman sold for 5 seconds, commentary asked if it would affect him, then it was never used in the match after that as Roman powered out of everything and speared with no problem.
Meanwhile every other face on the roster is selling injuries like crazy in-match

This is part of what pisses people off about Roman, he is a skilled worker but his psychology is that of some Samoan Cena but doesn't have the move variety in the finish to make it interesting.
If Roman keeps the belt here you'll see him ignore this injury in the finish unless they listened to the podcasts complaints about it.
Attitude Era was not nearly as good as people remember it.
For me it totally was. At that time with wwf and wcw I was watching wrestling more than ever. When I was younger it was warrior and hogan, when I was older it was Bret hart stone cold etc
Attitude Era was the first iteration of villain McMahon and has shock value, it will be remember fondly for it, and personally as lacking as it was otherwise, one thing being that good made it enough to be at least somewhat as good as people remember.
