I just dont see why there is such a rush for a rematch. Its been 9months if Aldo gets another big win over a contender like Holloway it will make the rematch much more intriguing. Just my opinion.
What was the rush in getting Conor the Nate Diaz rematch?

I think Conor beats Eddie but loses to pretty much everyone else in the top 5 (including a rematch with Nate). Eddie gets hit too much and although his recovery is unbelievable at times, I think Conor will tag him once, stun him and then finish him off. 1st round within 90 seconds.

Comments like yours are frustratingly stupid. You do realize people were saying the same bullshit months ago with Edgar in the place of Holloway, right? Hell I bet you'd jump to Pettis after he beats Holloway.

I don't have a problem with you wanting to see Alvarez over an Aldo rematch. Clearly you just find the fight more interesting, buy don't try and apply any sort of logic to this bullshit because that's all it is, bullshit. McGregor doing anything other than defending his title is ridiculous and hypocritical. He should be and will be stripped, but not any time soon. Right now they need his title as a marketing tool for the Alvarez fight, and that's all it is. Conor has no intention of going back to 45.

Stupid because i have a different opinion to you. Mcgregor vs Aldo doesnt intrigue me, Alvarez vs Mcgregor does. Aldo has a belt let him defend it against Holloway in the mean time then Mcgregor can fight the winner after he fights Alvarez. How come nobody is crying about Holloway not getting a shot when he is 9-0 in his last 9 fights but Aldo who is 1-1 in his last two deserves a rematch against a guy he got destroyed against.

1-1 is a funny way of saying he lost 1 fight since 2006

There are plenty of opinions I understand and respect that are contrary to my own, so no your comment isn't stupid because your stance doesn't align with my views. It's stupid because it's... well..... stupid. You see here's the thing. You find Alvarez to be a more interesting match up than Aldo as I said in my previous comment. That should be where your thoughts on this matter end, because you have nothing to back up Alvarez - McGregor making sense on any level other than you want to see the fight. You simply cannot justify the fight making sense..... so don't attempt to.

If you took your head out of McGregor's ass maybe you'd see that the MMA community has been "crying" for both Holloway and Aldo to get their shots. The 10 year undefeated, current interim champ who just beat Frankie Edgar is first in line though. That's undeniable.

"If you’re fit to fight and you’re not going to fight, the belt rightfully should be stripped, and this (should be) for the regular featherweight belt." - McGregor

What was the rush in getting Conor the Nate Diaz rematch?
Money, obviously. Even the UFC isn't hiding that.. and it happened to out-sell every PPV before it. What's the crime there, and who exactly should the UFC be answering to if not the demand of the fans?

You seem like a person not worth having a debate with tbh so i will just leave it at that.

I wasnt trying to say that tho.
no you were trying to put the hillary clinton spin on the numbers to promote your own agenda.aldo was the champ since the WEC he lost 1 fight since 2006 .conor beat him and went on to lose a fight to diaz win th rematch and now fight for a different tiltle .if he isnt coming back it is fucking over the whole division.if he is then what good is a champ who lost the next fight after winning his belt.now he wont come back and defend his title against the interim champ. the ufc has let this guy create such a fucking mess all in the name of money.it has ruined any aspect of sport there was left in mma.now what if he beats alverez? two weight classes get fucked over for the next year or 2?
