So lots of talk in the last few months about fighters who have cancelled fights due to injury or something else. Along with these talks it's usually the Brazilian's who take the brunt and I was curious as how much of this was warranted. I did a quick search and found a great article not too old ( July 2015) which has a list of the tip offenders to that date.

First comparison that stood out to me was that Jon Jones and Jose Aldo have the same amount of UFC no shows, Aldo has one more in MMA total from a WEC pull out. Also Tito only having 4 seeing as he's been around forever and is known as the excuse guy.

Here's the list...

To provide more clarity on the issue, sportsofanarchy.com have compiled a list of the top 40 fighters who have pulled out of the most fights. Check it out below:

Although Cain, Khabib, DC and Rockhold may have not have pulled out of as many fights as others on the list but look at the length of time that some of these guys have been off, well over a year plus. Then add the I'll be ready to come back........" with no fight signed but end up being off for even longer. cough cough, Cain, Khabib.

No Diaz, BJ, Conor, they come to fight no matter what. Only thing that gets them is weed, scandal, and their attitudes.

Jon Jones didn't pull out of UFC 151. His opponent did. He never had a contract to face Chael.

I'll have to go back and reread the link, don't remember implying roid use but if so then I agree with you.
It infers it by the "Alarmingly, five of the fighters featured in the top ten have failed drug tests in their careers. Matt Riddle, Thiago Tavares, Thiago Alves, Thiago Silva and Vitor Belfort have all tested positive for banned substances in the past, which may or may not coincide with the high volume of fight withdrawals." That just annoys me.

Meh, I say Vitor gets a pass for having the most KO's also, as well as virtually being there since the beginning :).
