I've got to say, it's a pretty good show.

I have never read a comic in my life, nor do I even know which super hero belongs in which universe... and I don't care.

Saw this show on Netflix and gave it a shot. I like it. I tried Daredevil and the Jones one, but they bored me. I'm 11 episodes in now and still interested. I thought it'd be more for young girls.

The updated writing as far as cultural references is what really stands out to me. And holy cow, Calista Flockhart is 51 years old!

Plus, there's the whole Jessie Graff Ninja Warrior thing.

Anyway, back to Netflix.

Oh, and Melissa Benoist probably took the most embarrassing hit during the Fappening a couple of years ago.

I don't know what it was. I think it was just too dark and slow.

Same reason I HATE Batman. They make things so dark that you have a hard time seeing what's on the tv half the time.

It's definitely shot dark, but daredevil is generally one of the darker grittier stories. Supergirl also has a bright and hopeful feel to a lot of her stories, so i get it. :D

I get ya, lol. I was actually expecting this to be a WB (or CW whatever it is now) superhero Gilmore Girls. Kinda like Smallville, which started with promise, but turned into a soap opera.

I LOVED Daredevil and Jessica Jones but I still thought Supergirl wasn't bad, it's been moved to The CW for season 2 though so I'm not holding out much hope for that.

I haven't seen the show, but i've read some of her comics. It's why it was such a big deal to *32 year old spoiler!* kill her off during crisis on infinite earths.

Oh boy, I was just praising it for NOT being CW. All well.

I still plan on going back and giving Jessica Jones another shot.

And I don't know if anyone has seen Orphan Black, but I think Melissa Benoist does just as good of a job playing 2 (or more ;)) distinct characters just like Tatiana Maslany.

I just can't get over these fappening pics, she's so...sweet and innocent in SGirl, I've never seen her in anything else.
