One of the most infuriating things about this election has been listening to people talk about Trump's relationship with the GOP. I was sitting next to a Hillary supporter last night at a bar. She was going on and on criticizing Trump bc the leaders of his own party don't support him. That is not a bad thing. That's why a lot of people support him you fuckhead.
How is it not a bad thing if he won't have support to get bills through?

Him not getting bills through is probably better than Hillary selecting a puppet for the Supreme Court and getting everything she wants sent through.

Didn't the reps go against the process (even law?!) to deny a new one already? And who is to say Trump's/rep's choice would be any good at all or any more independent than Hillary's choice would be.
Pretty high horse.

I think you misunderstood. Or I did? o_O

Do you want your favorite politician to become the party you don't like?

If an independent would win, we would run Trump as a third party. But they can't right now, so Trump is the sledgehammer against that as well.

If we dont get new parties, we have changed the GOP for the foreseeable future. They are nothing but a conduit. Winningest nominee ever, new states in play no one else could get in play. There's an entire group of disaffected voters that came to the polls (on both sides btw) during the nomination process.

The point is that happened because of Trump, not some new outpouring of GOP identity across the country.

I'd love to see Congress brow beat into actually enforcing immigration laws, focusing on America, spending money here first.etc.

Well see what we can get.

No, and I didn't say that, but its absolutely something to look at from both sides, Priziesthorse @Priziesthorse didn't do that. I helped him out. Nothing more to it.

I wasn't really saying you think that man. It was a rhetorical question so you can understand why we both run Trump as a Republican and have disdain for the party platform and leadership.

The RNC and DNC are guilty of preventing us from running fair third parties. We'd see it from both sides when it wasn't the case. But when we have to have a hostile takeover just to represent a different view on the national stage, the parliamentary discourse you imagine can't exist.

You seem on edge, relax.
I get it, and he prolly does too, now. ;)

How you ended up with that shitty system is beyond me anyway.
