LOL @ me ever googling him. I've seen a good deal of his fights even pre ufc. Sure, he's fun to watch, but it is far outweighed by having to listen to him afterwards. All you wwe fans boys want to jerk off while listening to him run his mouth? Good for you, to each their own. The only time I listened to a post fight interview after a McGregor fight was after he took over the Captain's position of the HMS Quick Tap Club.
alright man enjoy missing out on some great stuff

IF Conor doesn't wanna fight in Nevada , does it mean he also doesn't pay the fine?

Technically... true. It would also mean that he can't fight anywhere that is sanctioned by the NAC so that could rule out a lot of international cards where the NAC acts as the sanctioning body on behalf of the UFC.

Other ACs will honour it though.

Why did it get ramped up from $25k to $150k?

NSAC has a provision to raise the fine depending on a combination of what an asshole you are multiplied by the level of delusion held by your fan base. I'm surprised he's not back on government assistance with everything he owns being repossessed.

They tend to only honor actual suspensions and in this case he isn't suspended at all. He's just not going to be able to fight in Nevada until he pays the fine. Similar to the position that Nick Diaz is currently in.

And it was ramped up because the NAC is full of shit. Pat Lundvall was actually pushing for a 10% fine which would have been $300k. They just wanted to prove a point because they had to try to prove that they're in charge. So because his reps showed up trying to defend him instead of just asking for mercy and begging for forgiveness, they decided to make a spectacle of things. I expect something similar when Jon Jones is due up for his clomiphene ordeal.

This surprises me considering the judges appointed by the NSAC gifted him a decision there.

:)

You may be right, it would be interesting to see what happens if Connor refuses to pay. I will go out on a limb and say that Florida, NJ, Cali etc will refuse to allow him to fight. They don't want guys acting like dicks, not paying fines then coming to their state and acting like dicks again.

The NAC don't oversee the UFC's international cards, where needed the UFC acts as their own sanctioning body, but adopt the NAC rules as their standard. Marc Ratner who was previously with the NAC fulfills that role of commissioner.

I thought that they had a bigger role in some countries but I'm more than happy to admit that I'm wrong. Thanks, boo boo kitty fuck.

The double standard here could only be due to racism......I kid, I kid.
Honest question though, were the deciding figures who gave out light fines to both Cormier and Jones, the same people who decided to fine Conor so heavily?

Ok I just read the article. Apparently conor, after retaliating to a thrown water bottle with one of his own, ran around the stages and started throwing full cans (that is plural) and bottles of water (again, plural). I can see that as being an issue, especially the full cans.

Connor apparently hit a fan - a little girl (like most mcgregor fans) - in the head with a full can of a mother energy drink.

The little girl happened to be the sister of one of the 209 crew. Nick had posted a video of them walking out with her (wearing one of the Represent shirts) and talking about how it was messed up to throw things at little girls. I'll see if I can find the video.
