I still don't understand why ppl don't like watching GSP fight. I think it is awesome to watch the most top level fighters in the world get schooled.

Watching the belt change hands so many times since he left I thought would garner him a greater appreciation.

Oh well, I get off watching him dry hump :)

call me a hater but I agree with the Nuthugger. GSP's last finish was against an undersized BJ Penn. Then, he went 7-straight decisions. I understand I'm just a spectator and his opponents are all monsters, kind of hard to finish but he very well could have finished some. He always choose to play safe. That and him never moving up a weight class to challenge Anderson puts him out of the GOAT discussion IMO.

I'm a pretty big GSP fan, but I want him to stay retired. He left on top and is unquestionably the best to ever compete in the sport. The fact that people complain about his fighting style is a testament to that. People's complaint about his fighting style is that he was too dominant. Let that sink in for second.

No doubt about how dominant he is. But this is more of preference issue from fan perspective. All the anti-GSP fans probably agree that GSP fight not to lose. Different breed from the Lawlers, McGregor, Diaz, Alvarez, and more who fight to fight regardless of the risk.

and a Toyota Corolla isn't the most exciting thing on 4 wheels, but if I need to get somewhere time in, time out every single day. I'm picking it over a Lamborghini and I don't even have to think twice. The point of the fight is to win it.

I know I get that. I'm talking more about why certain fans prefer watching one type of fighter over the other. And I think he's great, most dominant in the WW, but I'd rather prefer the other styles and thats y I don't care for his return.

I also don't want him to return. It's baffling to me that people wouldn't want to see the person who is best at his craft plying it though.

Imagine watching F1 With Toyota Corollas. How fucking boring would that be?

Victim of lay n pray

Another victim of lay n pray

(No disrespect intended to either as they are both tough as nails, and GSP beat the ever living shit out of them)

More lay n pray from the boring Canadian.
