Thanks man, will check this out, I've only read a Kevin Smith run of Green Arrow from about 5-6 years ago
Quiver was solid. As for GA books written by Grell his miniseries The Longbow Hunters would be the place to start. After that check out Grell's GA ongoing.

Here's an obscure one. Doubtful anyone will act on it, but who knows. Down the line you may run into it in barnes and noble and grab it

So my avatar is based off a dark elf from r.a. salvatores ongoing series of ~40 books called "the legend of drizzt"

I highly recommend the first two trilogies, ice wind dale and dark elf trilogies. Ice wind dale, books 4-6 is first by publishing date and dark elf 1-3 is obviously first chonologically. Book 5, streams of silver, is pretty badass. But all 6 are pretty good.

Anyway, I've read the graphic novel omnibus for books 1-3. I'm sure my opinion is biased, but I thought it was cool. Not sure how it holds up without having read the books and knowing all the intricacies that are left out or implied by the art.

Since I mentitled it, I couldnt resist. I just read through the first 74 pages. It's a pretty awesome way to revisit the dark elf trilogy novels, but the pacing may be way too fast to enjoy it as a stand-alone graphic novel. I dunno. First book is dark.

this is awesome, thanks guys, Just re-reading the watchmen atm! such a a good fucking comic and i forgot how great rorsharch is as a character
I loved Rorshach as a character, but on the whole I found Watchmen to be really under whelming overall. It really felt like they were trying to drag it out.

@Alienator or Team Bisping @TeamBisping I've got a volume 1 and 2 of the Max Punisher collection if either of you would like to borrow them.

I hAve had watchmen on my bookshelf forever but I'm too big a dweeb for fantasy novels that I haven't gotten around to it. I did start "before watchmen" tho. Pretty good so far. Did u read that one? Btw, I'm a drm Manhattan groupie based on the movie. What an interesting dude "all we see of stars are their old photographs"

Jupiter's Legacy volumes 1 and 2
Jupiter's Circle volumes 1 and 2

Legacy is one of the best superhero minis around imo.

What are some good punisher books? He's a character I'm looking to read up a bit on him.
Kind of difficult to quantify. With the heroes that have been around for a long time there have been a pile of different writers and storylines. In some cases even the origin stories change over time. It's also virtually impossible to keep up. When I was a kid, X-Men, Spider-Man, etc were already into like issue 2 or 300. So I'd already long ago missed the "get in on the ground floor" boat and being a kid I just bought covers that I thought were cool. I enjoyed the stories but rarely followed the entire lines. Having said that, now that I'm a little older I'll go to a book store from time to time to buy a collected graphic novel where they collect the 5-10 issues of a story arc and issue them as a volume. Over priced for what they are imo, but I enjoy them nonetheless; still a fan of holding a physical book in my hand.

For Punisher go for Ennis, fraction, and remender runs.

Batman, knightfall, anything by jeph Loeb, Frank Miller, no man's land, I'm personally a big fan of Snyder and capullos 52 run court, death of the family, and endgame.
