Both are nicknamed The Spartan, but Alex Nicholson didn't take kindly to a comment from Elias Theodorou and things escalated from there.

Alex Nicholson hasn't exactly had the best start to his UFC career. After losing his debut to Misha Cirkunov in February, he did manage to get a KO win over Devin Clark in July. In September though, he was busted for saying some racially insensitive things while cornering Mike Perry, and was also investigated for a domestic violence incident.

Regardless, he has a fight with Sam Alvey coming up. When a former Alvey opponent, Elias Theodorou, was asked about the matchup on Twitter, he decided to pick Alvey. And since both him and Nicholson are nicknamed The Spartan, he threw in a little jab. Then the floodgates opened, with Nicholson taking…
