Could this be the changing of the garb? Looks like the ufc is gonna regret this. Something is gonna come out of this; fighters leaving, young fighters choosing other organizations, fighters union....something.

This is pretty messed up, but there is no alternativ at the moment.
Let's hope Bellator gets some walking around money from viacom, and get some big name fighters in, sponsors will follow very fast.
Unless they go the ufc route by taxing them to sponsor a fighter.

They'll keep Conor happy by making sure he parades around in Press conferences and all sorts of additional "We're the time", "Now the is", "Welcome time", "The now is welcome", "Pain is the face" hot air marketing launches where any additional sponsors for outside the cage will get exposure with him and Rousey. The rest are not "now" or "time welcome" or "now show" or whatever, so they have to look for that elusive food stamp sponsorship.

As well as the Dana backroad bonuses, never forget the backroad bonuses Conor is getting pounded with backroad bonuses.

Notice Dana has made it a point at the last two PPV's to say at the press conferences "and those that didn't get bonuses, you can expect a check too because you were awesome". Trying to soften the fighters up for this? Get people (media) thinking "wow, Zuffa really does take care of their people"?

look you guys are forgetting, as lorenzo said, the great majority of fighters are thrilled to have gear specifically made for mma and uniforms that they can keep. You have to take the cost of those things into consideration-like insurance benefits from a job, it's not in the pay, but still a nice perk. Having gear specifically for mma has to be a dream come true for most fighters. /sarcasm

It is a complete fucking joke and the UFC will not see a dime from me ever again until they overhaul shit. They basically said fuck you, took away all the money the fighters were making from sponsors for themselves and did the Reebok deal, and said here we will give you a little bit for you and more for us. Fuck them.
