I'm surprised Johnson didn't even get 5% of the vote.
Sorry sir. Non inspiring open borders candidate.
Americans want strong borders and strong, yet compassionate, immigration laws.

He made himself "the weed guy". Never really got a culture or personality around him. Not very charismatic or heavily prepped....you have to have one.

Mr. Rachel Maddow on the verge of tears.

I'm not on a good internet connection, however I will have to find all of these screenshots I saved of Twitter users just a couple weeks ago going on and on about how they will be such assholes when Trump loses, how they will completely shit up the place with I told you so.

You could win 1 state by a million vote, but then lose 2 by 10 votes. You'll have gotten more total votes, but won fewer states therefore lose. That's a very dumbed down analogy.

Don't you find that weird, to me it's weird that those 10 votes together are stronger than a million votes

So Trump just won right? With Florida and then adding Wisconsin and Iowa if he retains all Romney states that's a 269-269 tie that would go to the REPUBLICAN House to break right? And that's now his worst case scenario.

I haven't seen or heard of any democratic electoral system that's fair. Admittedly I'm not intimately familiar with a lot of Europe, but it's not uncommon for someone to win the popular vote and lose the election. Happened here in Canada last year.

Yeah, but i attribute it to weak willed individuals who would rather go along with the crowd and still feel like they "won" something than stand for what they believe in. Not all that malarkey you just said. :D

How is Clinton winning the popular vote and losing an election.
Isn't that just silly when more people vote on you, and you're losing anyway.
I find this electoral voting a pretty weird system.
It's set up that way so everyone gets representation. If it wasn't, farmers in North Dakota where like 58 people live wouldn't get a say in any of this stuff. It's still heavily swayed towards the more popular states, but it's set up the way it is in an attempt to be as fair as possible from people of all walks of life.

Do you hear that? That's the sound of the end of Paul Ryan's career.
What I hear is the possibility some shit will actually get done. It might not be shit I like but at least it isn't a locked down government constantly playing brinkmanship games with the American people

Trump is a ruthless businessman, ultra competitive, and not afraid to hurt feelings. He will take the Presidency personally because of his ego. He doesn't like to lose at anything. I really believe him when he says that he wants America to win again, and I believe he will work tirelessly to make that happen.

Look at Scandinavia for the best electoral systems. PR is the best option.
