Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford: does it matter if movie romances are real?

Well, the cat is out of the bag. The moggy in question may be knocking on for 40, and the bag is coming apart at the seams, but no matter: the story can finally be told. In 1976, during the filming of Star Wars, Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, and Harrison Ford, who was Han Solo, crossed over to the Dark Side and – according to Fisher’s new memoir – had a three-month affair. Apparently he's now married to Calista Flockhart - who used to be in Ally McBeal - a show my wife watched religiously when we first got married:

Who I just realized is not the same chick that stars in Grey's Anatomy - which I'm lightly exposed to because my wife watches it. The chick in that show is Ellen Pompeo.

Now that I look at it, I have no idea why I had them confused. They look nothing alike.
For the record, if I had to choose I'm taking Ellen Pompeo all day, every day. Calista looks like she needs a sandwich.

Carrie Fisher dated Paul Simon in the late 70s/early 80s, and then almost got married to Dan Akroyd who proposed to her on the set of The Blues Brothers in 1980. But she ended up back with Paul Simon (Sorry Dan, chicks love guitarists - that harmonica doesn't cut it) and they were married for a hot minute from the fall of 1983 to the summer of 1984.
