I'll always have a soft spot for Wonderboy III on the master system. That was a real classic

Definitely New Vegas. Honorable mention to Skyrim. If Mass Effect hadn't botched the ending, that might be a contender.

Great topic for a Friday! But be warned, because I'm about to geek out a little...

Honorable Mention/Lifetime Achievement Award goes to John Fitzallen Moore, Walter Marvin and their, The Tech Model Railroad Club (TMRC). TMRC History
Steve Russell, Martin Graetz and Wayne Wiitanen with the help of other members of TMRC, created the first shooter game(Spacewar) that really helped spark the development of digital/video games.
If you'd like to play Spacewar in your browser, here's an emulator that runs the original code:
Spacewar!

Arcade Games:
As much as I liked Pac-Man and Mrs Pac-Man, I was much more of a fan of Donkey Kong and I routinely played, Battlezone, Galaga, Centipede, Asteroids, Defender, Elevator Action, Spy Hunter, Pole Position, Star Wars, Tron, Joust.

Thoroughly enjoyed Tempest and had hours of fun playing Track and Field against friends - Gi or NoGi...oops, I mean with or with out a spoon or pencil. =)

Was hooked on Dragon's Lair.

Rolling Thunder and Shinobi became two of my favorites.

Loved Punch-Out!!, Karate Champ and Street Fighter but I got burnt-out on the increasingly popular side scrolling fighting games because I was dying for more footwork and angles.

My neighbors had ColecoVision and Intellivision but I was all about Atari.
Favorite game was E.T. (Just kidding. I couldn't resist.) But I actually enjoyed it much more than most people.

Porky's wasn't a great game, but I loved the first couple movies when I was a kid, so it made the Atari game much more enjoyable. The naked girl in the shower was a great addition to.

My true favorite games for Atari are the classics that I've listed under Arcade Games.

But one of my all time favorites is, Adventure. The first graphical-action adventure game available for home consoles. It also was the first home-console game that included an Easter egg.
Here's an interesting interview with the creator of Adventure, Warren Robinett:
The Jaded Gamer » Of Dragons and Easter Eggs: A Chat With Warren Robinett

And here's a playable version of Adventure on your browser:

Tip: The switches on the graphic of the Atari 2600 console actually work. Click the power switch to turn the console on and off and see the old school "snow" that your old television used to display.
To play the game, click the Game Reset switch.

I'm currently still on a Xbox360 and after a long binge on Red Dead Redemption, the game I play the most is GTAV.
Every now and then, I throw in some of the old fighting games on older consoles such as, PrideFC and KnockoutKings/FightNight.
One of these days, I'll set-up my Panasonic 3DO so that I can play another of my favorite boxing games, Foes of Ali.

I'll finally end this with my favorite P4P Fighting Game of all time which is, Thrill Kill for the old PS1 that many people used to mod.
Thrill Kill and it's characters is so outlandish that it was never officially released because of threats that it would be banned from being sold in stores.
It spread like wild fire after the developers leaked the code.
One of the female character's special moves is to use her cattle prod in her opponent's anus.
Here's gameplay footage:
