Have you had a chance to check out the documentary Atari: Game Over? It's worth a watch if you were into that generation. They went to the infamous landfill where the leftover E.T. cartridges were buried and tried to excavate them. You should check it out if you haven't seen it. It's on Netflix.
No, I didn't get around to seeing that documentary, but I definitely have to check it out. Thanks for the reminder.
I know I said Super Metroid earlier, but I just got Harvester from Humble Bundle for 59 cents, and I may have to change my pick. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omdm7p6ZpkE
Battlefield 1 was sweet...or maybe it was 2 Halo 1 Goldeneye and Perfect Dark Tecmo Bowl...the one where LT and Bo jackson are unreal
Deep breath and in no particular order (also I have completed all of these):: Grand theft auto 5, Elder scrolls 4 Skyrim, Final fantasy 7, final fantasy 9, final fantasy x -2, sim city 2000, populous, X com, Callofduty 4 modern warfare, call of duty adanced warfare, call of duty world war, X com, DOOM, doom2, Wolfenstein, Repton, day of the tentacle, Samnmax, Forza horizon 2 and Tekken 7. Also Zelda and Tetris. By the way the highest rank on Tekken 7 is Prime Tekken God. Sad I know.
Metal gear solid 1-3. Tekken 3. Burnout 3: Takedown. Micro machines. Call of duty: modern warfare 2. Devil may cry 1 & 3 (2 was rubbish).
Listen ya commie pinko... I got Fallout New Vegas because of threads like this. Shit is painful to play. Tell me why I should continue... So dull, shit graphics, and people killing me for no apparent reason... wtf?
Great "Metroidvania" game, I enjoyed it alongside Alundra, Brave Fencer Musashi and Eindhander as cult PS1 classics. If you ever get a chance I'd assume you would really enjoy Astroboy the Omega Factor on the GBA since it's the greatest "Metroidvania" style game in my opinion. I'd put it above S.O.T.N., Shantae, Shadow Complex, Steamworld Dig and yes even Tomba (all IMO of course).
