like the TUF fight with Sabah and carrington.. As a judge Damage is my deciding factor...If your look like youve been in a fight and the other guy doesn't have a scratch, in a super close fight thats what I use to decide..Sabahs pouting was so childish..he acts like he destroyed the kid..

It was close and Sabah was busted up..and in that setting with a winner having to be picked I gave it to Carrington..Plus the striking was virtually even..and Sabah was taken down a few times..Fight wasnt great but good for discussion..

I didn't see the fight you're referring to but I don't agree 100% with your judging. My main reason is you can't see damage that well unless its the face. If your a guy who works the body tons and has great attacks to the opponents legs that stuff doesn't really show compared to say a black eye that could swell up from one punch. Also if you're a strong BJJ guy and have worked lots of sub's causing some serious pain on someone it more than likely has zero visual effects, think of Vitors arm bah on Jones. Jones arm was fucked but you wouldn't know unless he said so.

it can be tough to say with damage. imagine if spencer fisher was to fight someone like penn. penn wasn't easy to cut, or bust up, but fisher bled from almost nothing, and swelled pretty easy. even if (in some dream world) spencer took it to penn for 3 full rounds, he would look like the loser easily.

Somebody like Nog or Wand could take zero strikes in a fight but still look......rough.

I agree, but I would also take into account who was closest to finishing. It may very well still go to the guy who had the most damage, but if you got saved by the bell for instance, despite dealing out a beating, then that would be scored heavily.

Im not saying judge every fight by facial damage but in this instance..I agree about damage to the body..see reem vs Roy for example..
