...sure does suck sometimes. Just found out an old homie of mine got strung out on drugs really bad, to the point where he ended up with pericarditis from dirty needles. This guy was always a good friend of mine. The thing that really gets me is he has kids too... WTF.

Im bittersweet on the subject. Sometimes I'd rather just remember the good times and keep moving forward.

I want to try to help the guy, but i don't think he wants help. I feel bad for his kids.

Sucks for the kids involved, for sure. They'll be impacted for life in some way, by not having a dad around.

Lost about 10 friends in the past 5 years due to heroin overdoses. Such a shame how that shit destroys your life. Hopefully your friend can change things before he dies.

I had a friend that I lost touch with. We weren't even THAT close I guess by that point. Then he was dead from heroin. I got the news later that same day via other friends and it just hit me like a ton of bricks. I dunno why, like I had captured his image in my mind and over those years all that stuff was invisible to me. Then end. That's it.

I hope you are hanging in there.

I watched the video. Sad end. There's a living talented father. And then not. My serious condolences dude. Hope you can provide any support to his family.

Fucking shame the guy couldn't find the help he needed. When people go down this path, you have to wonder what was going on with them emotionally, that drove them to drug use. What happened in their childhood, what happened to their support system, etc.

He broke his neck and back attempting a tailwhip on a bmx jump when he was 16. He was alone in the woods for about an hour while the other person he was with went to go get help. He battled chronic pain since then. His wife recently left him, and within a month after the divorce was finalized she was married to another man. As you know i broke my back in several places, and i've been divorced twice so i can relate to his pain. However i can't say that i like pills or needles. Fuck that.
