You won't be disappointed. Well not with Mask of the Phantasm anyway. I can't speak for the Sub-zero movie.annnnd it looks like for 8 bucks I can get with in a combo pack with the Sub-Zero sequel from Amazon.

I'm kind of hoping I get sick again this year at Christmas so I can stay home and watch movies with my dog like last year, lol.You won't be disappointed. Well not with Mask of the Phantasm anyway. I can't speak for the Sub-zero movie.
Definitely worth it. It's fantastic especially if you loved btasAnyone here seen "Mask of the Phantasm"?
I never got the chance and I'm thinking about going back to check it out.
Welcome to the Haven homie.Man I am REALLY late to checking out all the other forums on this site..... Really and truly late..... As a devout geek, I would say that it's a two horse race here with Batman TAS ahead of X-Men..... Batman Beyond and the 90's Spiderman cartoon series (that had great story arcs and tons of cameos from top characters from the X-Men series and a bunch of other Marvel heroes) are tied for third
Usually I Screen Rant or Cinegeek or ComicAllience for my Movie/Comic nerd outs, but fuck that, I'll be doing here with you guys. At my gym between classes/lessons, I usually have my bass, and my Machine MK2 working on music, or on Youtube streaming comics (or Netflix)..... Important to have my balanceWelcome to the Haven homie.![]()

Just watched "Mask of the Phantasm" Not only is TAS the best Batman, but Mask of the Phantasm is the best Batman movie.
Dark Knight Returns squeaks past phatasm in my book. But it's fantasticJust watched "Mask of the Phantasm" Not only is TAS the best Batman, but Mask of the Phantasm is the best Batman movie.
Storywise TDKR is slightly better, but you can't beat Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill's performance... They give every TAS and movie/game performance a bumpDark Knight Returns squeaks past phatasm in my book. But it's fantastic
I very much agree. I thought weller was on par with both of them though in his portrayal as the elder more grizzled BatmanStorywise TDKR is slightly better, but you can't beat Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill's performance... They give every TAS and movie/game performance a bump
Hmm, I'll have to check it out. To be fair I'm not sure something that obscure would fall within the confines of the debateDark Knight Returns squeaks past phatasm in my book. But it's fantastic
It's one of the most prolific comics ever written adapted with more care then any other graphic novel. Hardly obscure. You should definitely check it out though. Behind the red hood is good tooHmm, I'll have to check it out. To be fair I'm not sure something that obscure would fall within the confines of the debate
Was it released in theaters? It's one of the most prolific comics ever written adapted with more care then any other graphic novel. Hardly obscure. You should definitely check it out though. Behind the red hood is good too
No but killing joke was, and this is a thousand times betterWas it released in theaters?
I believe you, but I'm going to stand by my observation that it was too obscure to be in the "GOAT Batman movie" conversation if it was straight to DVD. Same applies to Killing Joke. I'm not the Batman fan some of you guys are, but I'm a bigger fan than the average and I didn't know that "Dark Knight Returns" existed until today, lol.No but killing joke was, and this is a thousand times better
It was the comic that popularized the "gritty" comic trend of the late 80's and 90's.I believe you, but I'm going to stand by my observation that it was too obscure to be in the "GOAT Batman movie" conversation if it was straight to DVD. I thought that had more to do with Tim Burton popularizing it across mainstream entertainment. It was the comic that popularized the "gritty" comic trend of the late 80's and 90's.
That movie came out 3 years later.I thought that had more to do with Tim Burton popularizing it across mainstream entertainment.
True, but to most people it was the first time that Batman had that dark, grittiness to it. You do need to keep in mind that most people don't read comics. That movie came out 3 years later.
Well that's what i said. "Comic trend"True, but to most people it was the first time that Batman had that dark, grittiness to it. You do need to keep in mind that most people don't read comics.
You do need to realize that I can't read.Well that's what i said. "Comic trend"
