Ah you are right! I was thinking of his Vale Tudo Japan match against Sato. Man i loved Rumina Sato back in the day. That fluting armbar he pulled off that broke the arm, that dude was top of the game back then

Jaggers?? That guy seemed really cool. I had to rewatch Marlons career in Sengoku recently so that whole run is fresh in my memory. Was he the Ninja of Love? I liked his fight to get to Marlon but at the time Marlon just forged a path through everyone. It's incredible what Marlon has achieved and to be honest it looks like at close to 40 he's got a second wind and might get the Pancrase belt back and possibly make a run at the Road FC belt. I was at his house last Christmas. Run down favela house surrounded by kids with walkie talkies and guns. Real pity journey men like him never really get paid like they should

Yup it was Matt..we were wrestling and mma team mates...one of my best friends to this day...yea he fought Sandro AND TKZ that tournament..and a guy named TJ on TUF..great dude and one of the winningest wrestlers in Indiana history..was 213-11 iirc

Sengoku really found some great fighters. Props to your friend. Must have been incredible fighting for them
