Even wind through the keyhole. Racism was a huge factor in drawing of the three, and persisted through the wastelands. I don't have anything against Idris Elba as an actor, as I heard he was great on The Wire, but Roland was based off of Clint Eastwood. You include the racism element between detta and Roland in the drawing of the three, and casting a black man, regardless of his talents, as Roland kills the series before it even starts. Complete incompetence on the production and casting crew. Not to mention they want to start the series in New York, instead of the far ends of the Mohaine?!?! What the fuck is that? The Man in Black fled across the desert, and The Gunslinger followed. Now we start in New York. It's total horse shit half assed tripe and it hasn't even started yet. #totalfailure
