According to Robin's twitter he is launching 2 new shows (which I think might be reboots of his old Fight Network shows?) and they both just launched on youtube. Since you have to have an episode posted before you can submit to iTunes I suspect they should begin appearing in podcast aggregators over the next week or two.

Anyone listened to the old Fight Network versions of these shows? I'd be interested to hear how the format has changed and how he is able to continue using the same names after leaving the network.

He's got some interesting artifacts there -- framed VH logo, upside-down Xmas tree, and he's using record albums as coasters.

Haha don't forget the rad Dali zebra statue. I imagine that the albums are really just 500 copies of The Waitresses' "Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful"

Robin posted 2 new versions of the podcasts from yesterday with much better audio for those interested there's links in the original videos. He also posted the first episode of "Championship Rounds" yesterday and he should be releasing his first episode of "Ask Robin Black" later today.

Glad to have him back.

FN is still a channel that I use, and 5 Rounds and Fight News Now and everything will be missed, but now that I see that they'll be continuing on with it on their own, couldn't be happier.

I don't get the whole "cool rocker that's into martial arts look" but I really enjoy
his passion for the sport. Plus the day I hate on a guy for losing his job, not giving up...

then launching a podcast with the mic sitting on a stack of records and
nuthin but balls and a dream is the day I stamp "bitch made hater"
on my forehead.

Not hating on the guy, just don't like him as much as I used to. He did the exact thing you say to Ariel when he lost his credentials for that day or twoo..
