I'm actually struggling to name/hum a single Biggie track. I'm probably not the best person to ask, I did buy a best of 2PAC album though and my other half bought me a tshirt!

In terms of pound for pound talent and flow i'd say Biggie but in terms of impact on the rap scene it's Tupac.

Biggie is king.

I like Tupac better for both subject matter as well as a beat that makes me want to learn to shimmy like I wasn't a nerdy white computer dork. Writing was amazing.

Biggie was more technical and by that level a better rapper. But in the end, the whole package that I want to put on my playlist? Tupac every time.

Pac is better as an artist, individual and an icon. It's not even a contest but people make it one because they too caught up in the regions they live in.

Where is the 'rap sucks, always has, always will and will never be a credible artform as its nothing more than a bastardization of the English language" option?

You know that the bunk is an east-coaster?

As far as the thread goes.. as one of my favorite rap artists once put it:

rap grew up in new york
but as soon as he could walk, he found the way to the west coast
where he liked it much better
then he learned to fly and west-berlin was his destination
now rap is in me, i am real
