I found out today that DC has a superhero named Snowflame that gets his powers from snorting cocaine. Frankly I thought this was a bullshit lie but turns out it is actually a real thing.

History
Snowflame is a drug-powered supervillain who fought the New Guardians in Colombia, defeating and almost killing them. In their second battle the New Guardians attacked Snowflame and his followers at his compound and threw him into a chemical shed which exploded, killing him.

• Unique Physiology: Gains superpowers upon snorting cocaine.

  • Superhuman Speed
  • Immunity to Pain
  • Pyrokinesis
  • Cocaine Touch: Touching Snowflame was sufficient to give The Floronic Man a contact high.

They need to make a movie about this dude. It would make bank.

A vampire created by a white supremacist group to eliminate anyone who was not white by infecting them with AIDS.


History

The Hemo-Goblin was a vampire created to help a white-supremacy group eliminate non-whites. He is notable mainly for infecting members of the New Guardians with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. He was killed in battle with the team.

Killed the good guys gay team member by giving him AIDS. Yup, that happened.

That character was introduced during the short lived New Guardians series that spun off from DC's Millennium event. I remember it well because that was right around the time I started reading DC. No man escapes the manhunters!
