Totally agree answer when I said that about jones and Gus some people went nuts but we have seen Jon use that as the main tool to his victories. I still think Gus beats him in a rematch. Even this version of Gus because this version of Jon isn't the same eitherBoth win because of their reach. When they face a fighter who has the same reach they run into trouble.
Alexander has already exposed Jones and Wladmir has been knocked the fuck out.

not height , his reach is the problem.I see your point, but I don't.
I do agree that JBJ has a HUGE advantage with his height. That guy is a legit HW pretending to be a LHW. He is enormous for the division, as is Gus.
Not comparing chins . I am talking about his reach , he can keep all fighters at a distance . If Wlad didn't have a fight IQ then how in the world he would remain champ for so many years. Wlad also keeps his opponents at a distance with his reach.Wlad doesn't have a good chin, and his fight-IQ is questionable at best. He is also 41 years old. And he lost to way shorter fighters too.
Jones is still kinda young, adaptable, more flexible, seems to have a good chin yada yada. I don't think its a good comparison.
Physicality, extreme discipline, technically sound.Wlad didn't have a fight IQ then how in the world he would remain champ for so many years.
You forgot the weakest HW division in history. The HWs in boxing have been non existent for at least the last decade.Physicality, extreme discipline, technically sound.
And technically, bisping won that fight against Hamill and Lebentechnically no
all i can say is records are records... i dont agree with it but its thereAnd technically, bisping won that fight against Hamill and Leben
I think this is more realistic.Wlad doesn't have a good chin, and his fight-IQ is questionable at best. He is also 41 years old. And he lost to way shorter fighters too.

Boxing history is in many parts an American-centric hypejob. You forgot the weakest HW division in history. The HWs in boxing have been non existent for at least the last decade.
So boxings HW division hasnt been shit the last decade? The Klitschkos could say things that make Conor blush and it still wouldnt change the fact their competition hasnt been very good.Boxing history is in many parts an American-centric hypejob.
If the Klitschkos tried to be foulmouthed, arrogant English-speakers. Things would be different.
That and if Lennox didn't run as far as he could.
Just as an example, Joe Louis is rated as one of the best, prolly top3 in most lists. So boxings HW division hasnt been shit the last decade? The Klitschkos could say things that make Conor blush and it still wouldnt change the fact their competition hasnt been very good.
Lennox was 38 by the time he fought Vitali. I agree it hurt the division that he didn't hang around until he lost, but he had had 44 fights, was losing desire and had made a lot of money already. It was a smart move on his part to retire when he did. Vitali hung around until 40 but no one is going to suggest his late career wins were the same quality as Lennox's.Boxing history is in many parts an American-centric hypejob.

It was a smart move on his part, no denying that. But thinking about making a case for the Klitschkos, 'not really' having this name on the record hurts em bad. Vitali was already 33 too or something, not being very marketable didn't help em in career chances either. Lennox might have done it for more cash. He'd have rematched Tyson probably..Lennox was 38 by the time he fought Vitali. Vitali would easily beat prime Mike Tyson. So boxings HW division hasnt been shit the last decade? The Klitschkos could say things that make Conor blush and it still wouldnt change the fact their competition hasnt been very good.
They both know how to use their reach.By this logic, Stefan Struve is obviously the UFC HW champ. They just forgot to give him the belt.
Attributes are cool, but knowing how to use them makes all the difference.
