Ok, the bullying about the money definitely puts a different spin on it. I'm glad DJ posted this. Good for him for standing up for himself.

DJ should have laid it out from the beginning, because the way he talked about TJ before did not do justice to his real pov.

I'm torn on this. On the one hand, this is classic Zuffa-era Mafia tactics where Dana lies and publicly humiliates people for not bending to his irrational whims. I think the world will be a slightly better place once the disgusting piece of human trash that is the egg leaves it, even if he is only the most offensive cog in a shit-wheel that will keep turning.

And Mighty Mouse seems to mount a strong case that he is right in telling Dana and Sean Shelby to go fuck themselves in this instance.

But on the other hand, I don't want champions to have any power to pick challengers. It's badly hurting the sport. I think Mighty Mouse is entirely justified in outright saying that if TJ can't make the weight, he will refuse to fight him. But if the UFC wants to take that risk, that should be their business. DJ can drop the belt if he doesn't like it, they aren't asking him to fight Brock Lesnar.

These dodgy tactics Shelby is engaging in at the behest of his masters are Joe Silva 101 and they are appalling on a moral level, but they are what used to keep the sport moving along.

You need to charge your phone. If you go to settings you can get it displayed as a percentage, which I'd highly recommend.

I'm not a big fan of dj. Thought he got a gift vs torres, and his recent fuck this fuck that tirade in an interview came off gross.

However he does have a rightful claim as the UFC most successful champion (currently) and he should be marketed as such. I know Joe Rogan bangs on about him being the best fighter in the world every now and then but that's about it.

The other day when I heard they were lining up a tj fight I was like yeh fuck it it makes sense, but if I were mighty mouse and what he said is true I'd tell Dana and the UFC to go fuck themselves.

It sounds like a shit show all around.

There is some truth to the smaller guys being less marketable but they said that about 145, before connor, and 135 aside from Dom and TJ, so I guess its a matter of personality rather that size at this point.
Its sad but he basically needs to start acting like an arrogant twat and get ridiculous tattoos according to the current formula...
That aside it really shows what we all already know, Dana is a snakey cunt who lies with every breath but whats new.

MM is in a shitty position, no doubt. He is very talented, but the UFC and most fans don't seem to care(me included). Flyweight is too small and the talent pool too shallow. This gives him zero leverage, which has to make him so frustrated. What's your next step when you tell the boss your demands and he basically says 'shut up and do what you are told or we'll shut down the whole division"?

Well. I guess your next step is the OP. I guess I have to admire him for finally putting everything on the line. He truly is a cornered rodent, fighting for his professional life. I don't think he will win here, but I don't think he had much choice either.

Fuk Dana. He's always been a cunt but this seems worse. I think there might be pressure coming down from the new owners. Dana's move seem very desperate.

I hope MM gets on PPV, I'll order that shit even if its a shitty card. The rest are stream as usual. I haven't ordered single ppv this year.

Or they could crucify the Irish guy over a bonfire and make him defend his belt against a dominant wrestler.

So he is ducking TJ out of principle?
From what it sounds is TJ is dana's side squeeze and dana is forcing MM to fight his guy. That is why he has not accepting the fight without PPV points which dana denied

I get that. But I wouldn't complain while being in the lower weight-classes, and nobody wants to watch you. That they don't pull viewership has been established. He should not blame anyone else but life for that one. TJ is not to be blamed either and most likely his best fight ever right now since Cody has a "injury".

Dana's gonna Dana but this is not the fight he wants to refuse. TJ is a solid contender. People have been saying he doesn't deserve it because he hasn;t fought in that division, but forgot how Edgar got his title shot with Aldo. Mighty Mouse maybe gets a lot of sympathy because he's so small? He should be more business minded. It is not like he just found out right now Dana is a cunt. But he just now chooses to speak up. Now he's finally being able to prove himself against real competition.

No you cant blame TJ but DJ is the champion, he cant go an eat at 24 hour buffets just to get to a weight to be respected. Dana is a piece of shit and shouldn't be trying to influence any fight
