Thought I'd go back and hit some 'Likes" for ya.

Saw this, so sad! My eldest Brother took me to to Montreal in the spring of 82, to make a weekend of it. When we got here Steven pulled out Tickets for the J Geils band playing at the Forum! AMAZING TIME!! Will never forget it. My Bro is now gone and so is J W Geils, RIP.

Saw this Man live Six different times. From opening for Robert Plant to IMO a guitar Gods concert with Mark Knopfler, SRV and Eric Clapton. Remember waking up the day he past and just being crushed, another of the very best gone to early. RIP

The George Baker Selection - Little Green Bag

Some info, if you care...
The lyrics are actually "Little Greenback". If you pay attention to the lyrics, every line is aimed to rhyme with "back", not "bag".
Lookin back. On a track. For a little greenback. And if you listen closely, it's pretty obvious he's actually singing it as "greenback".

But the single was misinterpreted by the label and they wrote it up as "Little Green Bag". The song became a hit before the album was released, so the band renamed the album to reflect the error. The cover even featured the band holding a green bag.


So the song was about money (greenback). But was interpreted as marijuana (green bag).

I feel I've written this all down before - so if this is a duplicate, I apologize.

Super jealous you got to see him live. SRV, Knopfler and Clapton in one night would be amazing.
