Good stuff bro, im not one of these reformed drinkers who try to talk others out of drinking so they can share my misery haha, if you can handle it like an adult as you say then I say go for it.I like to think I'm on the left side...

Are you totally off the sauce now? If so, feeling better?Good stuff bro, im not one of these reformed drinkers who try to talk others out of drinking so they can share my misery haha, if you can handle it like an adult as you say then I say go for it.
Yeah totes off it. Feeling better but its not like im a "new me" or anything life's the same old shit sans hangover. Are you totally off the sauce now? If so, feeling better?
I'm at a point where I'm only having a handful of drinks per week. It's kind of weird, I wasn't even trying to cut down. It just sort of happened, and for whatever reason it just hasn't been as appealing (I sound like an old fucker lol). I still love beer and bourbon, but I now find contentment in just a couple drinks and don't enjoy being too drunk anymore.
Pretty much the only time I drink beer now is after a mountain bike ride. Nothing beats an ice cold brew with the buds while sitting on the tailgate after a hard ride. And if I go out to dinner with the wife or something, I'm not opposed to a couple of bourbon drinks. Tonight I had a couple of small glasses of bourbon, and I'm all good now.
One thing I have noticed is that I've been sleeping WAY better. Huge benefit IMO.
Good job bro. I bet you don't miss the hangovers Seriously, good job man. I've seen some people close to me really struggle with quitting booze.Yeah totes off it. Feeling better but its not like im a "new me" or anything life's the same old shit sans hangover.
Never was much of a bourbon drinker, too sweet for my liking. Have you tried any good single malt scotches? I have a bottle of Aberfeldy somewhere here I think Ill open it on my daughter's 18th (got it 9 years ago when she was born). Me and my mate bought a $300ish bottle of red the night my son was born to open on his 18th but we drank it at some point that very night haha
