I think the fight should have been stopped earlier in the 2nd round but Dy almost stole the round and the doctor cleared him. Based on that, I would have let it go.

Exactly
If he was going to stop it even when the Dr told him it could continue, stop it when he stopped action earlier.
It didn't look like the eye took that much damage between the 1st stoppage and the end of the round
He asked the guy to show he could still fight in that condition, and that's exactly what he did
Don't give the guy the chance if you're going to stop it either way

There was only 4 pounds between them, but that was the equivalent of a fat WW trying to fight an in-shape LHW.

Unfortunately UFC always tries to look after its house slaves at the expense of the field slaves.

If Holm gets any sort of stoppage against Bethe, and she will, watch her get a bonus.
