I live in the Pacific NW America.
The only notable racism I've seen in my lifetime has been against whites, beyond measure.
I've heard(or heard of) the word "nigger" used 3 times in a serious manner in 41 years.
And that imo, is attributed to the culture, not skin, in retaliatory remarks, for lack of a more hurtful word.
I have to assume regionally it's different, but in my neck of the words, that's how it is, and has been.

there aren't many places 'whiter' than the PacNW...very little racial diversity.

Though this post coming from someone who says he's never seen racism except only to whites ... right after posting a perfect example of racism he has seen (and then excusing it as "it was out of anger so that racist thing he said was okay"), is not surprising at all.
